When wax is used as a coating it beautifies, lubricates and insulates, and protects coated products against: wear, moisture, oil ond grease, electricity, rust and corrosion, acids, salts, alkalies, dehydration.
In addition, protects the contents of Coated Containers against evaporation, moisture, leakage, taste, odor and discoloration.
Waxes as Impregnations
When wax is used as an impregnation it binds, stiffens, lubricates and insulates to protect impregnated products against: moisture, wear, insects, oxidation-ozone, acids, alkalies and salts.
In addition, protects the contents of Impregnated Containers against: moisture, evaporations and electricity.
